A lot can be done with a header of black and white. It would look good on a black background, as well as on a white one. For a more dramatic look, try using a black and white header on a blog which has a complimentary color as a background.

Have fun downloading this free header art. Try different ones on for size. Tweak them to your liking. Flip them. Resize them. And for special effects, try using a specialty font. Personally I like how metallic looks on black.

Use your imagination and let your blog reflect your personality.

      Hi Zeenat,

There’s so much that can be done with black and white; I’m sure I’ll have many more to follow. For sure, have your brother come by and download whatever header art suits his needs.

  3. I LOVE these dramatic looks!

      Thank you Vered,

Yes. Black and white can be VERY dramatic. And with the right font, it could make for a gorgeous header.

Black and white looks fab Barbara. I was only here a couple of days ago to get some new ideas and this wasn’t here then. I didn’t realise you added new stuff so often – it’s fab.

    • Barbara says:

      Thank you Catherine,

I just added the black and white and also the kaleidoscope header art. I have more I’m working on, so keep checking back.

Hi Barb! Well you know me, I am bowled over impressed! And black and white is stunning. I often thought erasing should have had some blackboard look but gosh I love those swirls! I have bimbo-itis (it’s not terminal) and avoid anything other than basic typing on my computer. So my awe of you is obvious!

      Thank you Suzen,

It would be hard to pick just one header, wouldn’t it? Maybe a rotating header would be a good idea. :)

      ((hugs)) to you, too.

Barbara. I’m taking a few minutes to sneak another peak at more of your headers. Love the piano keyboard! The filmstrip is pretty cool too. These are fantastic.
