A lot can be done with a header of black and white. It would look good on a black background, as well as on a white one. For a more dramatic look, try using a black and white header on a blog which has a complimentary color as a background.

Hi Barb! Well you know me, I am bowled over impressed! And black and white is stunning. I often thought erasing should have had some blackboard look but gosh I love those swirls! I have bimbo-itis (it’s not terminal) and avoid anything other than basic typing on my computer. So my awe of you is obvious!
