For these headers I chose an assortment of different metals and tweaked them so they look realistic. Although I like how they all turned out, my favorite is the copper.

By the way, when picking out the font for your blog header, adding a metallic looking one on top of one of these metallic backgrounds could add just the pizazz you’re looking for.
